Photography has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. As a child I was obsessed with cameras, video editing, and photo manipulation, anything that let me capture and create. That obsession eventually turned into a serious practice. I love the technical side of photography just as much as the creative side, which is why my work spans so many forms, from studio portraits to documentary series to editorial and fashion work. Even so, my focus keeps returning to the same place, and that is the queer community.

As a queer artist my work is deeply personal. It is a homage to my own journey and worldview. Growing up queer in a small town shaped the way I see things and gave me a lasting interest in imagery that challenges expectations. Photography became my way of working through questions of identity, belonging, and self acceptance, and that search still runs through everything I make today.

I work both digitally and with analog film, and I have experience in the darkroom. Analog photography and lighting are the two areas I keep returning to and refining. I also work in publication design, which lets me shape how a story is presented on the page and not only how it is captured. My mission as a photographer is to document and archive the vibrancy and diversity within the Dutch queer community. Right now I am building this archive one community at a time.

While this personal work sits at the heart of what I do, I remain open to commercial collaborations and bring the same eye and care to those projects.
